Strolling through our life | stokke trailz all terrain review

Nuo pat nėštumo vis žadu padaryti blog postą apie vežimą, bet taip niekad prie to neprieinu. Bet dabar, panaudojus jį visus beveik gerus 6 mėnesius, patyrus skirtingą orą / aplinką / grindinį manau galiu padaryti visiškai pilną apžvalgą. Na laukiu dar sniego, bet esu tikra kad ir juo riedėsime kaip su suteptomis rogėmis.

For a really long time now I am planning on doing a post about out stroller, but always something came up and I have to put it away for a while. But now, after 6 months of using it and testing in various conditions and weather, im finally sitting down and writing my full review .

Taigi pirmiausiai dar nėštumo pradžioje ėmiau dairytis ir domėtis vežimėliais. O čia nusimanyti tikrai yra kur. Pasiūla begalinė, bet tikrai kokybiškų, ergonomiškų ir patvarių variantų pasirodo ne tiek daug. Taigi nusistačius sau kriterijus : pravažus, manevringas, erdviu lopšiu, aukštas, ėmiau gilintis labiau ir galiausiai priėjau prie dviejų variantų. Bet dėl dizaino ir daugiau gerų atsiliepimų ir priedų prie vežimo pasiūlos - pasirinkau Stokke Trailz vežimą, pripučiamomis padangomis ir juodu rėmu.

So, since the day I got pregnant I started looking into the strollers. And I couldn't believe how many different brands and strollers there are to choose from. So I did myself a list of criteria for the pram: it has to be ergonomic, maneuvering, spacious, rubber wheeled. So with that I managed to get to two different brand strollers and two different models. But I read some reviews on the internet and looked at the designs and accessories, I decided to go with the Stokke Trailz all terrain stroller.

Nemeluosiu, jis nėra iš lengvųjų, bet nutempt jį iš trečio aukšto problemų nematau. Gal dėl to ir formos greit grįžo? Į minicooperio bagažiuką su nuleistom galinėm sėdynėm telpa, tai man pats tas. Namie stumdėsi labai lengvai ir maloniai, taip pat ir po laisvės alėjos grindinį.

Im not gonna lie, Stokke Trailz is not the light weighted stroller, but I don't see any problem carrying it up and down few times a day from the third floor. And maybe thats why my pre pregnancy weight got back so fast? Also, I am still driving my mini cooper s and I do fit my stokke trailz in mini trunk with the back seats down. And Markas is sitting next to me in the front.

Pirma mano ir Marko kelionė vežimu buvo jo ketvirtą gyvenimo dieną, kuomet ėjome namo. Buvo gan geras oras, tad iš gimdymo namų nusprendėme važiuoti tuos kelis kilometrus ne su mašina, bet pasivaikščiojant po laisvės alėją. Nuo pirmų dienų Markas jame gulėjo patogiai ir noriai, tad tuo be galo džiaugėmės.

So the very first our stroll was actually on the 4th day of his life. Since we live close to the place I gave birth and the weather was super lovely, we decided to walk home. And I was happy to see that Markas felt super comfy and happy and calm in the stroller and enjoyed his first little walk.

Kadangi rugpjūtis ir rugsėjis buvo labai šilti, tai mes tą laiką išnaudojom vis kažkur važiuodami pietų miegeliui. Todėl mūsų "stokutis" (taip aš vadinu savo vežimą) jau riedėjo ir asfaltu, ir smėliu, senamiesčio grindiniu (visai gerai, su minimaliu kratesiu), miško takais ir takeliais, žvyrkeliais, parodos kalnu ir t.t. Tad pravažiavus per tiek, drąsiai galiu pasakyti, kad tie pripučiami ratai yra jėga, o važiuoklės minkštumas suteikia max komfortą vaikui.

Since august and september were absolutely lovely weather months, we took advantage of that and spent most of our time somewhere outside with the stroller. So I pushed this stroller through different paths: through old town roads, sand, wood paths and gravel roads. Therefore I can confirm that Stokke Trailz is like a jeep that goes through everything with no problem and baby still feels like sleeping on clouds.

Lopšio dydis taip pat man labai tinka ir patinka. Jis gana erdvus, o kai Markas nėra mažas vaikas, standartinis kitas lopšys jau jam su žieminiais kombiais ir miegmaišiais būtų ankštokas ir na, trumpas. Jis ten ir dabar dar drąsiai miega iškėlęs rankas prie galvytės ir išskėstom kojytėm. Nu taip kūdikiškai patogiausiai :)

The size of the carry cot is absolutely perfect. Its spacious and long which is really important since Markas is not a really small baby. I noticed that other brands carry cots would be already too small for us with all the winter coats and sleeping bags. But in Stokke Trailz carry cot Markas still fits perfectly even with all the winter clothing on and sleeping bag and still has plenty of space for his arms and legs.

Tiek vasarą tiek žiemą labai pasiteisino prailgintas lopšio stogelis. Vasarą apsaugojo nuo tiesioginių saulės spindulių, o rudenį ir žiemą saugo nuo žvarbaus vėjo. Kai norėjosi kad gautų daugiau gryno oro, bet negautų tiesioginių spindulių - čia pasiteisino ir ategamas tinklelis orui. Beje, lopšys yra pašiltintas, bet vaikui vasarą jame nebuvo karšta, o dabar žiemą ne taip prasiskverbia šaltis, tad ir vėl pliusai. O turbūt vienas didžiausių šio lopšio privalumų yra išsitraukiančios rankenos, kurių dėka viena ranka galima užsinešti lopšį, kaip tašę, kitoje rankoje nešant vaiką, tad to vežimo transportavimas iš trečio į pirmą aukšą ir atvirkščiai, man tikrai nėra sunkus ar varginantis dalykas.

The extended canopy of the carry cot came in really handy as well. In summer it helped to hide the baby from direct sun, in autumn to cover from rain and strong wind and now in winter it cover the baby from snow and drizzle. If you need to cover the baby with extended canopy, but still want to bring some nice breeze and air in, there is an exceptional ventilation which you can easily unzip. Also, the carry cot has softly padded interior which makes the baby feel super soft and snugly in the pram. Its not too hot in it in summer and still nice and warm in winter. But honestly for me, the biggest advantage of this carry cot is that it has carrying handles, which you can also unzip, or zip and hide haha. So its super easy for me to carry the carry cot in one hand and baby in other hand.

Prie vežimo iškart pirkome ir priedus, be kurių dabar neįsivaizduočiau savo dienos. Pirmiausiai tai puodelio laikiklis. Norėčiau paspausti ranką žmogui kuris sugalvojo tai padaryti prie vežimų, nes vėsiomis dienomis smagu vaikštinėti gurkšnojant šiltą arbatą ir turėti kur ją "po ranka" pasidėti. Pūkinis miegmaišis/vokas - idealiausias dalykas vėsiomis dienomis ar kai noris lėkti į prekybcentrį, nes vaiką iš jo "išlukštenti" labai paprasta. Jis patogiai dedasi į autokėdutę, nes gale padaryti atsegimai diržam, jaukiai telpa ir į lopšį neužimant ten daug vietos, bei žinau kad tiks ir į sportinę dalį. Na ir mamos tašė - joje telpa visas mano ir Marko gyvenimas, patogi nes pasidaro kaip kuprinė, erdvi, yra pervystymo kilimėlis tad pasitarnauja vietose, kur nėra tinkamų sąlygų vaiko pervystimui. Yra termo skyrelis maisto indeliam ar buteliukam, kuris išlaiko vėsumą/šilumą, tad dabar kai Markas jau valgo košeles ir geria arbatėles, labai aktualu ir patogu.

As mentioned above, I really liked that Stokke has a huge variety of accessories to their strollers. So with the stroller we purchased quite a few. First of all - a cup holder is a definite must! I would like to say than you to the person who invented it and decided that its needed because its so nice to stroll around with baby sleeping and sip some nice coffee after terrible night of sleep. Another must for me is a sleeping bag. I mean I don't even have words to describe how soft and nice it is and its so perfect for cold and windy days. I do use it in the carry cot, it perfectly fits in the Stokke besafe izigo modular car seat. So I know for sure that I will be using it in the stroller seat as well, when we switch to it. And lastly, mom bag. This bag fits all mine and Markas lives! I love that you can wear it as a bag or as a backpack, its spacious, has a changing mat so its lovely to change the baby when there is no baby room. Also, it has one termo section on the side so its easy to keep your babys food warm or drinks cool.

Kad ir kaip man lopšys patinka, ateina metas jau keisti lopšį į sportinę dalį. Nes tiesiog Markas nubudęs jau nori sėstis, tad buvome apsilankę BabyCity parduotuvėje, kur beje pirkome ir važiuoklę su lopšiu ir visais priedais, ir pasodinome sūnelį į sportinę dalį, nes norėjome pažiūrėti ar jam bus parogu ir patiks. Tai rezultate patiko! Tiek poilsio, tiek miego, tiek sedėjimo pozicijoje. Tad dabar didžiausia dilema - spalva! Juodos nenorime, nes pagrinde bus naudojama pavasarį - vasarą. Galvojame apie kažką šviesaus, galbūt grey melagne ar brushed grey spalvos. Nors norėtūsi ir kokio gražaus šviesiai mėlyno, kaip pvz buvo limituoto leidimo spalvytė "nordic blue".

No matter how much I love the carry cot, soon we will have to switch to the stroller seat. Not because Markas does not fit in it, he does and quite well as I said, but when he is not sleeping, he prefers to be sitting and not laying down. So we went to the BabyCity, where we got our chassis and carry cot and all accessories, and tried the stroller seat. Markas seemed to love sitting there, as well as be in resting mode and sleeping position. So now we just have to choose the color and order it. But you guys, its so hard to decide which color to get! I don't want it black as we will be using it mostly during the spring and summer. So we are thinking about some nice light color, maybe grey melagne or brushed grey. I would like some nice light blue color but sadly they don't have it. They used to tho, it was limited edition and called Nordic Blue, but thats not available now, so we will have to choose something else!
