Corfu Snapshots

I know that my holiday was quite some time ago, but I really wanted to hare some more pics with you. I did showed you few of my holiday outfits, but I didn't really showed you some pics from the whole island nor did I told you more about where we were and what we so. So this post is all about the beauty of Greece called CORFU.

Corfu town and staircase to the sea

We were staying in a city called Kavos, so we went on a trip to a Corfu town (named same as the whole island) and I was very happy to see the staircase to the sea in real life. Why? Because I was seeing them on Pinterest over and over again and I literally dreamed about seeing them with my own eyes in real. And I did. And I am still happy about it because it's soooooo beautiful. And the old town of Corfu is just stunning. Little streets, coffee shops, antique and souvenir shops on the streets... You just really have to go there and see it for yourself, feel it for yourself. Life is not sleeping there.

The Cliff Beach

I have a thing for beaches. Clear crystal or deep blue seas and oceans makes me very happy. Nothing else helps me to relax more than being in a beach. So during our holiday we have visited few beautiful beaches and one of them, the one I liked the most - the cliff beach. Super clear water, rocks, cliffs... corals. AMAZING. It is a bit expensive in this beach, but totally worth going there.

Vidos island 

Also we took a boat trip to a little island called Vidos which is located very close to Corfu town. It has a Serbian mausoleum there. But in general the island is very beautiful and from there you can see the whole Corfu town.

We obviously visited more and explored more of the island, but the thing is that at the end of my holiday, an accident happened and my phone went for swimming in the sea haha and I had just these pictures left from my whole holiday so this is all what I can show to you! At least something, right?

August makeup favorites

Another month has ended and it means just one - it's time for monthly favorites. I have been doing it some time ago, but I stopped and then many of you asked to bring this topic back to the blog, so here it is! I didn't really used too much of makeup or beauty products in August, because I was on a holiday and during my holiday I tired to keep my makeup and use of beauty products at minimum. Why? Because I felt like I need a bit of a break from all that stuff. Although on the evening nights out I still wore some of the makeup and so I will talk about them now.

So this lipstick by MAC is probably my most worn beauty product in whole month. I just love the color, it's perfect for summer, perfect for day and night time. The color is Coral Bliss and it's a cream sheen finish lipstick. It applies smoothly and nicely, stays one for quite good amount of time and is just absolutely gorgeous. What else.. Well, I wore it even on the beach while taking picks haha.

Of course I couldn't survive without a good mascara and perfect eyeliner. For some time now I have been using Lancome Grandiose mascara and eyeliner. First thing I love about these products is the packaging. It's very sleek, very stylish, expensive looking and absolutely gorgeous. Second - the job they do. During my vacay I wore this mascara pretty much every day. I went to the beach with Lancome Grandiose mascara on, I went to the pool, I stayed a lot on the sun, I sweat a lot and it still stayed right in place, din't smudged even though it's not a water proof mascara. So huge huge thumbs up. Also, the wand is very interesting, but applies the product well and the bended wand makes it more comfortable to apply. Same goes to the eyeliner. It stays on without smudging for quite long. And it's very precise, because of the ability to bend the wand to both sides - it is also very easy to use. And with this eyeliner I get the prettiest line ever!

And last, but not least - pressed powder + foundation from MAC.I have it in the color NC40. So during the summer I put all my liquid foundations and even BB creams to the side and use only this pressed powder, because I want my skin to feel fresh and light. And I feel like this powder gives the right amount of coverage, makes the skin look matte and smooth. Also, on hot days this powder stays on really well, so I am more than happy with it.

Show off your sholders

Not sure why, but September is like a start of new year for me. It is the time when I make plans, when I think of some goals that I want to reach by the end of summer. Right now I have so many plans, so many things on my mind. Hopefully I will be able to make them come true. Oh and I am very happy that it's the second September when I don't have to go to university or school anymore. I really don't miss it at all and I am very satisfied with a "grownup" life. And talking about a grownup life - when you have a full time job sometimes you don't have time to get home after work to change and prepare for the evening out in a restaurant or pub, so you have to think of an outfit that would be perfect for work and for going out as well. On the other hand, my work doesn't put me in frames, I could actually come wearing a pyjama to work, but still. I feel like this outfit is so versatile - it's perfect for work, for going out to a restaurant, to a pub, club, it's even perfect for a date nigh! Oh, and off shoulders blouses are my new weakness. I think they show off the right amount of your skin. They make you look sexy, but not vulgar. Agree?

Exploring CORFU

Sharing this beautiful video from our trip to Corfu Island, Greece. We stayed there for 10 days and visited & saw many beautiful places. So here is a short video of some parts that we visited. Why some? Because at the end of the vacation my phone went swimming and I lost more than half of the pictures and footage. But overall the vacation was the best one I had so far!

Urban Decay VICE lipstick collection review with swatches

When Urban Decay releases a new collection I always get very excited. Why? Because they always bring something new, they always try to take our makeup game to the next level. New textures, finishes, new formulas, brave colors. This time they represented a new lipstick collection called Vice. What's so special about this collection? How about that it has 100 different shades and 6 different textures.  100 different shades sounds like heaven - now without a problem you will be able to find that perfect shade that would suit you. 6 different finishes ( mega matte, comfort matte, cream, sheer, sheer shimmer, metallized ) means that even the most picky person will find what they were searching for. Now let's take a look at 5 lipsticks that I got from this collection.

Like I said, I received 5 lipsticks : 2 mega matte, one comfort matte, one cream and one metallized lipstick. I have tried on all of these lipsticks already and have to say, that all of them look extraordinary and amazing on the lips even though it looks quite scary in the packaging - don't be afraid and try it on, you will be surprised!

The first one I tried is called Backtalk and it's a comfort matte finish lipstick. The colour is perfect for every day and the texture feels amazing, I mean during the day I even forgot that I had lipstick on, just when I took a glance in the mirror I saw that I still have it on. Oh and it stayed on for around 6 hours and during that time I was drinking coffee, tea, eating lunch, snacks and etc. So they are really long lasting lipsticks.

The second one is called Big Bang and it is a metallized lipstick. It's made only for the bravest, thats how I would call this lipstick. I can imagine wearing it on new years eve or some party, or photoshoot, or even for evening out paired out together with another lipstick, you know like an ombre effect or what not. The texture is a bit weird though, since it's metallized, you can really feel the glitter on your lips, but after a while you get use to it and can't really feel any discomfort. It stays on for around 4-5 hours. 

This beautiful fuchsia colour lipstick is called Firebird and it has a cream finish. I love this colour a lot. When you look at it, it looks more like a burgundy, or deep red with a bit of purple colour, but when you apply it you get this beautiful bright fuchsia color with a tint of purple. This lipstick is very creamy, it applies smoothly, doesn't dry your lips at all. Stays as well for around 4-5 hours.

I was never a huge fan of red lipsticks or red nail polishes. I don't know why, but I just had this feeling that red color doesn't really suit me that well. But I decided to give a try to this mega matte finish lipstick in colour 714 and I kinda liked how it looked on my lips. I love that its a very matte colour. It applies well, stays on for 6 hours for sure.

Last but not least - looks like the craziest colour of all, but for sure one of my top faves fom these 5! It is another mega matte lipstick in colour Pandemonium. It is a very beautiful deep, dark purple colour. It was scary to apply it, but once I did, I really loved the result. With cat eyes makeup this lipstick made me look fierce and confident. So I will definitely wear it in autum / winter time on itself and with other color lipsticks to create a beautiful ombre effect. 

Here are all the swatches on my hand and on my lips as well. Also I want to mention that these lipsticks are very highly pigmented, they even stain your lips. Which for me is just great haha. After I removed my makeup, washed my face, there was still this beautiful naturally looking red tint left on my lips. Even in the morning I woke up with a bit of colour stained on my lips. So they looked very puffy, healthy and just naturally beautiful. 

If you would ask me, I would say that these lipsticks are totally worth their price. Each of them are 19.99Eur and you can get them in Vilnius at "Douglas" store or from their online shop. If you want to get it online, but you are not sure which color to pick, which color will suit you the best - try their "Vice Lipstick" app and find the best shade for yourself! 

Suede skirt & sneekers

It's the last summer Sunday. I can't believe how fast time flies. It feels like just yesterday it was the first summer weekend. For this kinda sad occasion I thought I would share one more outfit from my vacation. To be honest with you, I wore this outfit quite a lot, because it's comfortable and it wasn't that hot with the skirt. Also, I tried to avoid wearing shorts when I knew I will be out on the sun a lot, because I didn't wanted to get short tan lines haha. Anyway, I really miss my vacation, I wish I was there now and I wish that summer was at least a bit longer.

Kiehl's Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash and Tumeric & Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Masque review

Labas visoms! Šiandieną noriu su jumis pasidalinti savo nuomone apie dvi veido odos priežiūros priemones iš Kiehl's. Šias dvi priemones naudoju jau daugiau nei du mėnesius ir esu visiškai jomis patenkinta. Kuo man jos padeda, kaip, kada ir kiek kartų naudoju, kokiai veido odai jos tinka - skaityk ir rasi visus atsakymus.

Pirrmoji priemonė, tai Kiehl's Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash. Šis veido prausiklis yra pritaikytas normalios - riebios odos savininkėms. Mano veido oda yra mišri, todėl ši priemonė man kuo puikiausiai tinka. Ji puikiai pašalina makiažo likučius, lengvai nuplauna rytini veido riebaliuką (ar ir jūsų oda rytais blizga taip, lyg katik būtumėt nubėgusios maratoną?). Aš šį prausiklį naudoju du kartus dienoje - ryte, tik atsikėlusi nuplaunu per naktį susikaupusį riebaliuką nuo veido ir vakare, nusivaliusi makiažą drėgnomis servetėlėmis, šiuo prausikliu pašalinu likusį makiažą, kurio nenuvalė servetėlės.

Kuo man šis prausiklis padėjo? Pirmiausiai, tai jis visiškai pilnai nuplauna makiažo likučius ir užtikrina, kad miegoti nueisi su labai švaria oda. Šiame prausiklyje esantis Medetkų ekstraktas padėjo suvaldyti vis atsirandančius nedidelius spuogelius ir paraudimus - po pirmos savaitės naudojimo oda tapo pastebimai lygesnė ir švaresnė. Na ir kas rytą ji padeda man sukontroliuoti odos riebumą. Susidarė toks įspūdis, kad būtent šis prausiklis padėjo sunormalizuoti mano odos riebalų išskyrimą. Oda rytais blizga mažiau ir atrodo sveikesnė.

Antroji priemonė - Kiehl's Tumeric & Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Masque. Tai veido kaukė, kuri puikuojasi Kiehl's kosmetikos bestseller'ių dešimtuke ir mano mėgstamiausių sąraše. Kaukėje esančios spanguolių sėklos padeda išvalyti visus nešvarumus iš porų, o sudėtyje esanti ciberžolė padeda akimirksniu atgaivinti odą ir suteikia jai energijos, bei gražaus, sveiko švytėjimo. Šią kaukę naudoju maždaug kartą į savaitę. Kada pastebėjau, kad ji tikrai veikia? Kai po 24 valandų kelionės : važiavimo autobusu, laukimo, skrydžio, vėl laukimo ir vėl važiavimo autobusu, pavargusi ir mieguista užsitepiau šią kaukę ir maždaug po poros valandų vaikinas nustebęs pasakė, kad atrodau labai žvaliai ir gražiai - lyg būčiau visai nepavargusi po tokios kelionės. Nuo to karto šia kauke palepinu savo veido odą kiekvieną sekmadienį.

Ji visiškai nesausina veido odos, todėl tikiu, kad tinka visų tipų odai. Aš ją užtepusi palaikau apie 20 minučių ir tada nuplaunu šiltu vandeniu. Tiesa, jei jau nuspręsite ją išbandyti - būkit pasiruošusios, nenaudokite jos kai skubat, nes ją nuplauti užtrunka gana nemažai laiko, spanguolių sėklytės labai stipriai prikimba prie veido odos. Bet man tai patinka. Kodėl? O todėl, kad tada tikrai matai, kad kaukė atlieka savo paskirtį.

Tikrai rekomenduoju abi šias priemones jums visoms, nes man jos puikiai tinka ir patinka ir žinau, kad pabaigusi turimas pakuotes skubėsiu į Vilnių įsigyti dar, nes paprasčiausiai po dviejų mėnesių naudojimo nebeįsivaizduoju savo veodo odos priežiūros rūtinos be šių dviejų priemonių. Na, o jei esate kažką iš šių priemonių išbandę ir jūs - pasidalinkite savo nuomone ir įspūdžiais. Galbūt tau kažkuri iš šių priemonių visiškai netiko ir nepatiko? Hello hello everyone! After long time of silence, here I am again! Today just a quick outfit update. I know that in Lithuania weather is not so summery anymore, so I will try to send a bit of warmth to all of you with my first outfit post from sunny and warm Corfu Island. Hope you will enjoy it!
