Antroji diena Rygoje prasidėjo gana anksti, 8:30 nubudome ir keliavome į viešbučio restoraną papusryčiauti. Pusryčių pasirinkimas buvo gana platus - nuo jogurto su granola, kiaušinienės, vaisių ir blynelių iki rūkytų dešrelių. Mes pasirinkome lengvą maistą, granolą, kiaušinienę, mažą puodelį kavos, stiklinę sulčių. Papusryčiavę grįžome į kambarį, susiruošėme, susipakavome daiktus ir išsiregistravome iš kambario. Susipakavę viską atgal į automobilį, sėdome ir važiavome ieškoti nemokamos parkavimo vietos, kadangi centre, visos parkavimo zonos yra mėlynos spalvos. Pavažinėję ratais nusprendėme palikti mašiniuką kitoje upės pusėje ir iki centro paeiti per tiltą. Mašiną palikome prie bibliotekos - kuri tikrai patraukė akį savo neįprasta architektūra.
Niekur neskubėdami perėjome per tiltą, per senamiestį iki parkelio, tuomet susiradome patikusią lauko kavinukę, kur prisėdome pasimėgauti puodeliu kavos ir šiltais saulės spinduliais. Tuomet vėl ėjome kur akys vedė. Pasižvalgėme, pasigrožėjome ir apie 3 valandą pajudėjome iš Rygos atgal namo, į Kauną, nes norėjome grįžti kol dar šviesu, kadangi man vairuoti nelabai žinomais keliais vakarais yra labai labai sunku :)
Tiesa, sekmadienis mus labai lepino oru. Visą dieną švietė saulė ir šildė 14 laipsnių šiluma. Todėl džiaugiausi, kad su savimi turėjau ne tik paltuką, bet ir naują veliūrinę, burgundiškos spalvos biker tipo striukytę iš pamėgtos internetinės parduotuvės - ZAFUL. Kuri puikiai tiko tokiam nuostabiam orui! Šią trumpą striukytę priderinau prie juodų plėšytų džinsų, baltos maikutės ir juodų iškirptų batų. Man pačiai šis derinys lbai patiko ir spindėjo pavasarine nuotaika, kaip ir pati diena. O pats švarkelis yra toks nerealus, kad nekantrauju parodyti daugiau derinių su juo, pvz. jis puikiai tiks prie suknelės, nes yra trumpas, ar prie ilgų marškinių. Žodžiu, spėju tai bus vienas mėgstamiausių apdarų šį pavasarį!
O bendrai, tai labai džiaugiuosi, kad draugas įkalbino važiuoti praleisti savaitgalį į Rygą, nes tikrai turėjome ypatingai nostabų laiką! Ir jau esame suplanavę daugiau tiek mini išvykų kaip ši, tiek didesnių ir įdomesnių vasaros sezonui!
// Second day in Riga started quite early. We got up at around 8:30 & went straight to the hotel restaurant for breakfast. The option for breakfast was quite huge : from granola, fruit plates and pancakes to cooked sausages with toasts and scrambled eggs. So we had some pretty tasty food, had few cups of coffee and couple of glasses of juice and went back to our hotel room. We started getting ready for the day, packed all of our stuff. Then we checked out of the hotel, because we had to do it until 11 AM. Put all our belongings in car, sat and drove to search for a free parking spot. We drove few circles around the old town and everywhere we saw blue parking zone, which is payed. So then we decided to park our car at the other side of the bridge. We actually parked the car near bible.
Then slowly we walked through the bridge, we went to the center of the city, near park, then we found a nice outdoors coffee place that we liked, we sat down and enjoyed this perfect prsingish weather. After nice cups of coffee we went again for a little walk and then got back to our car. We left Riga at around 3pm, because we wanted to go back home while it is still bright outside because I am not good at driving at night, especially in the roads that I don't know at all!
Oh, so the weather was super amazing that weekend and especially on sunday! The sun was shining from early morning and it was +14 degrees outside. So I was really happy that I took my new velvet burgundy biker style jacket from my favourite online shop ZAFUL. This jacket was a perfect option for this kind of weather. I paired it with black jeans, simple white top and cut out shoes. I mean this jacket is so gorgeous and can be worn with so many clothes! For example it will look absolutely beautifully with summerish dress or long shirt. I really can't wait for the weather to get a bit better so that I could show you more outfit options with this jacket!
Anyways, I am really satisfied that my boyfriend made us go to Riga for the weekend, cause I had the most amazing weekend there! And we already have planned some more little trips as well as one exciting summer trip!
