Maybelline "Master Brow" & "The Blushed Nudes" palette review

May 28, 2016

Hello everybody, today I am back here with another beauty post, another review. This time I am back here with Maybelline The Blushed Nudes eyeshadow palette and Master Brow Pro Palette review. Maybelline kindly sent me these products to test and share my opinion about them with you, so let's do it!

"The Blushed Nudes"
I will start with the eye shadow. The Blushed Nudes has 12 different eye shadows. They are all in nice, warm, summery colors. The colors that I would pick for every day and for special occasions as well All of the colors are sparkly, shimmery, only one shade is on a matte side.

The packaging itself is not too bad. It's light. small. I wished it had a mirror inside, so it would make the palette more convenient for when you have to do your makeup not at home, but somewhere on the go. It comes with a brush, but I never use the brushes that comes together with the palettes, because they are usually not in the best quality and I prefer a normal sized brushes anyways.

Now about the eye shadows. Like I mentioned before, the colors are absolutely gorgeous, they blend well, look nice when put on. Light colors are very slightly pigmented, so it takes some time to build up the color. Darker colors are very well pigmented, but have quite a lot of fallout. So after you do your eyes, you have to swap your under eye area with concealer. I haven't used all the colors yet, but quite a bit. For everyday, for going to work I wore (from left to right) 1 on the inner corner of my eye, 2 all over my eyelid, 5 on my crease and color 8 on the outer corner of my eye. I did liked how the colors blend together. Although I wish they were not all shimmery, but like half of them shimmery and half of them matte. Because I don't really like shimmery colors for every day. For evening - perfect, but for every day I prefer more natural looking matte colors. The eye shadow are not long lasting. Since I do have very oily eyelids, they stayed on without creasing for me for about 4 hours. With primer it stayed for 6 hours.

So, if you are searching for eye shadows for special occasions, for evenings / nights out and if you just started using eye shadows, I feel like this palette is perfect for you. If you need a shadow to be on just for half of the day and not the whole day. I know that I will wear most of these colors on my summer vacation (yay for that) for evening out in restaurants, pubs or clubs.

"Master Brow Pro Palette"

I am just gonna drop it out there - this is my new favorite thing for my eye brows. I love to the moon and back and bla bla bla.  I mean seriously. Up until now I have been using Maybelline brow pencil (don't remember the name) which I absolutely loved, but it lasted for really short time, so I tend to get a bit annoyed of that. And this brow palette really replaced the pencil. First I was scared that I will be really messy with the shadows for brows. But they are really easy to work with, super easy to fix if you did a mistake.

My palette is in the shade Deep Brown, which is perfect for me. With the angled brush first I take the first product in the palette which is a wax and I apply it in short strokes. Then using another angled brush I apply second product - powder for brows and blend it nicely. Lastly, the step I don't do every day, just from time to time - highlighting brow arch with the last product in the palette.

So in one palette you get three brow products, that work super well, stay on for super long. Like I said it is very easy to use and easy to fix if you did a mistake. And most important - it lasts for forever! I am using this palette for almost a month now and there is still plenty left ( well it seems like I just swatched it haha ). Really enjoy using it and will use it and will repurchase it again and again and again!
